Mike's Mountain Flying is owned and operated by Mike

Schwartz, who holds Airline Transport Pilot and

CFI-Instrument certificates. I have spent a good part of

my life either flying, hiking, fishing, or just generally

exploring the backcountry of Montana and Idaho.

Sharing this part of the world with students in my

Cessna 182 is a great experience. It always amazes me how people appreciate and enjoy not only flying but

seeing this remote and spectacular area of the U.S..

I operate out of a private hangar on the Stevensville, Montana (32S) Airport. We have 3,800' of good, solid pavement that allows us to launch towards whichever destination we have chosen for the day.

Flying an aeroplane with only a single propeller to keep you in the air. Can you imagine that?
